BUSINESS ENGLISH SEMINAR

Cheltenham is a hub of business, innovation, and industry in Southwest England. For this reason, it is the ideal place for professionals around the world to come and learn about Business English skills and practises.

The Business English Seminar is a two-week course, offered twice a year, designed to give professionals an immersive Business English experience. Through classroom instruction, individual and team projects, company visits, and more, students will learn how to operate effectively in a British business environment.
This course focuses on helping students understand the language and culture of business in Britain. Students will understand the ways that business etiquette and practices may differ between their own country and the UK. This will help them become more effective communicators in international business contexts.

As part of this course, students will meet with instructors, coaches, and special guests who will help them
understand the nuance and skills relevant to Business English. Included in this course are activities and trips that help students enjoy their learning experience.

The seminar runs for two weeks twice in the year. Clients may book either one of the weeks or both of the
weeks of the seminar, as the itinerary is different week to week.

SESSION 1: May 10-24, 2026

SESSION 2: October 4-18, 2026

BUSINESS ENGLISH ONE-TO-ONE

Students can choose to take one-to-one lessons with an English instructor with a specific focus on business topics and skills. The instructors are specially trained in business English.

BUSINESS ENGLISH FOR GROUPS

inlingua Cheltenham has been providing professional training courses with a focus on English competency for
many years. Our experienced teachers have taught groups in industries like healthcare, hospitality, military, education, business and more.

Through this programme, a group of professionals can come and study together with lessons tailor made for
their requirements. These lessons can include projects, presentations, roleplay scenarios and more. inlingua
Cheltenham’s teachers will focus on the target industry in their lesson preparations.

Groups may also request to substitute 10 lessons per week of training for volunteer placements in local
charities. Through this programme, students gain real-world experience by interacting with members of the
public in a professional way.

Additionally, the itinerary for these groups can be adapted to include additional activities, excursions to popular
