  You're ready to move on up the ELT career ladder but first you need a recognised higher level qualification.

For anyone intending to stay in the English Language Teaching profession, sooner or later you will need the Diploma.

The Trinity College London Diploma in TESOL consists of four parts:

Part 1: A written exam paper with questions covering language awareness and all aspects of English language teaching

Part 2: A coursework portfolio which consists of three pieces of project work including a classroom observation instrument, a developmental record and a research project or guidance notes for teachers.

Part 3: A phonology interview testing your knowledge and practical application of phonology in the classroom.

Part 4: Teaching practice and teaching practice journal.
