inlingua Teacher Training was founded over 25 years ago to train teachers for the inlingua network of schools. However, in recent years its success and reputation in the field of EFL and ESOL training mean that its services are also provided to schools outside the inlingua network.

Nowadays it forms part of the language school in inlingua Cheltenham and provides internationally recognised training programmes to teachers.

The Trainers
The trainers at inlingua Teacher Training bring wide experience and extensive knowledge of teaching English around the world including Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and South America . They all have the required Diploma in TESOL or MA in Applied Linguistics and pursue ongoing professional development by attending conferences and writing for EFL publications.

Ensuring the quality

inlingua Teacher Training is affiliated to City College Coventry, which runs independent quality checks on our training courses.

Trinity College London moderates every course leading to the Certificate in TESOL and assesses experienced teachers for the Diploma in TESOL qualification.

Teachers taking our Further Certificate Course for Teachers of Business English (FCTBE) are examined by The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examination Board.

inlingua Cheltenham is accredited by the British Council for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language to Adults and is recognised under the British Government's "Investor in People" scheme.
