Pre-MBA and IELTS Preparation

For many years inlingua Cheltenham has been involved in preparing students for Higher Education either for undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. inlingua Cheltenham , with its vast experience of language preparation and coupled with our experienced academic staff, can offer you our unique Pre-MBA course for 24 or 36 weeks.

The 36 week course consists of the following elements:

Session 3 6 Wks	Business Communications 12 credits	Fundamental Economics 12 credits	Computing Modules (18 Wks) inclusive of IELTS Preparation
Session 4 6 Wks	Human Resource Management 12 credits	Marketing Management 12 credits
Session 5 6 Wks	Corporate Strategy in Competitive Markets 12 credits	Financial Accounting 12 credits
Session 6 6 Wks	Research methodology 12 credits Business/Computing Project 12 credits		Project (6 Wks)

The Pre-MBA course above is full time and lasts for 36 weeks. The language entry level for this course is at least IELTS 5.0 or equivalent. As you can see, each course has attached to it a number of credits. These are awarded according to the assignments set during the course. It is necessary for students to gain a pass rate of 60% or more in each subject area along with the required IELTS level to be able to acquire entry onto the MBA at the University.

We also offer a second Pre-MBA course starting in January which is for 24 weeks. This course requires a higher level of English to be able to cope with a shorter version of the course. With regard to the 24 week course the structure will be the same as above but the number of weeks required to cover the subject and English content will be shorter, hence the need for an entry language level of at least IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.

If you do not have any recognised language level for entry we will test you before you leave your country to see whether your language level is suitable. inlingua International have on their website (www.inlingua.com) a placement test which we will direct you to take online which can be sent directly to us. We have the right to still refuse entry onto the course if it is found that after re-testing in the UK there is a marked difference in levels.

The course is based on gradual assessment except in the case of IELTS where you will be required to sit the exam so that you can achieve the entry level for the MBA at the University which is 6.5.

The advantage of this course is that it will give you entry into University to do an MBA but should you wish to choose a different Masters course then the following are available once you have passed this course. Therefore inlingua Cheltenham 's Pre MBA is a route into other postgraduate courses. The following are a few you could choose from.
