Jane took our Certificate in TESOL at the beginning of the summer period. During the summer schools overseas often close down but UK schools recruit teachers for the enormous influx of foreign students. Jane took a job as a summer school activities leader having had experience of summer camp work in the USA . By the end of the summer the school was so impressed with her that they offered her work all-year round.

Jonathan had worked in media and then decided to go abroad, He took our Certificate in TESOL in combination with the Further Certificate for Teachers of Business English. Less than a month later he was teaching business people with inlingua in Cologne .

With a few years' experience of teaching in Japan and the UK , Emma came to Cheltenham to take our intensive ten-week Diploma in TESOL. On completion she worked on our summer programme before taking up a permanent position with the British Council in Singapore

Ella took the Certificate in TESOL in January but wanted to go live in Italy . Unfortunately, Italian schools tend to recruit in September. Nevertheless one school suddenly received a new contract and needed a teacher to fly out immediately. Ella passed her course on the Friday and started work on the following Monday.
