What to expect on your first day. (Main School)
Host families will give students directions on how to get to school for. Students should arrive at the school for about 08.45am. They will be welcomed by the Director of Studies and given an induction to the school followed by a short written and oral test. Students will be shown around the school and the town centre to ensure they know where they are.
What happens on my first day? (Business Centre)
If clients are staying with a host family they will be given directions of how to get to school. Clients should aim to arrive at inlingua at 08:45am unless they have been told otherwise. You will be met by the Marketing & Client Liaison Officer who will give you a brief tour of the Business Centre. At 09.00am the Principal will meet you and give a brief presentation of inlingua, the training schedule and social programme. Each client will then meet their teachers. Each client will be required to sit a short written test which will be followed by a discussion with their teacher to complete a needs analysis assessment. This will identify the current level of English, key learning objectives and desired results. In the evening, clients are invited to join the Principal for a drink at a local pub: this is an ideal opportunity to discuss first impressions and ask any questions
