Designed for non-native speaker teachers, the TKT course prepares overseas teachers for the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations board's new qualification.
The course introduces teachers to the main current theories, approaches and activities in ELT as well as focussing on language development.
The course consists of 40 x 45 minute training sessions per week which cover the following:
- Describing language and language skills
- Class room management
- Background to language learning and teaching
- Observation of experienced teachers
- Using resources and materials
- Test Preparation
- Lesson Planning
Trinity Certificate in TESOL

Course Duration: 5 weeks |
Validated by Trinity College London, this internationally recognised qualification will allow teachers to work anywhere in the world. It is the essential qualification for a new teacher.
This intensive course (09.00 - 17.00, Monday - Friday) of lectures, seminars and practical workshops is available to both native and non-native speakers.
The course is continually assessed and in the final week students sit a written exam in language awareness and phonology and will also have a moderation interview
